Girl Meets Boy
Tuesday, September 13. Worn to work and then book club! We discussed Freedom by Jonathan Franzen. It’s about a family of four and how each of them react to their past and their circumstances. I really liked reading through the human aspect of the book -the relationships between the characters and such - but disliked Franzen’s political and ideological rants. It’s his style, but made the story move so slowly for me. Have you read it? What did you think?
