hey

I'm Mariel. My style is caught somewhere between a prepster obsession with plaid and the hard hitting trends of the big city. Employee at kate spade new york HQ, Astoria resident, big fan of the internet (I also blog at mariel and matt and mariellie.) All opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

31 October 11
Saturday, October 29. Matt and I hosted a Halloween party on Saturday night, and despite the snowstorm (!) a bunch of our friends came out - fully costumed, of course.
Sarah, Linds and I decided last year that we would go as our favorite witches from our childhood - the Sanderson sisters from Hocus Pocus. We cobbled together our costumes from thrift store finds and had a blast wearing their crazy makeup. I put a spell on you!
On me: Blazer - William Rast for Target, thrifted / Blouse - Tahari, thrifted / Skirt - Mossimo, thrifted / Belt - vintage, via Dolly’s (Durham, NC) / Booties - Marc Jacobs, via Deja Vu Boutique (Tampa, FL) / Wig - from last year’s Mrs. Frizzle costume
Check out my Halloween costumes from years past!
