Sunday in Tribeca
Sunday, November 14
Worn to brunch at Marc Forgione in Tribeca followed by a long walk around lower Manhattan, across the Brooklyn Bridge, ice cream, and a well earned nap. Marc Forgione might now be my most favorite brunch place in the city - we ate a family style brunch (for $16 a person, extra for drinks - in NY that’s practically free) including scrambled eggs, thick slabs of bacon, brioche french toast, buckwheat pancakes, sliders, maple sausage, AND MORE. So yeah, the long walk was definitely needed afterwards :)
The Outfit…
Black Cotton Dress - via clothing swap
Mulberry Cardigan - J Crew, thrifted
Black Studded Belt - J Crew
Black Tights - drugstore
Black Headband - drugstore
Donna Sling Bag - courtesy of Katherine Kwei
Black Riding Boots - Bally
I haven’t been posting many of my weekend outfits (since my sorority sweatpants seem to be my most valuable item of clothing these days) but this is my ideal Sunday brunch look. Lots of soft layers, a headband to smooth unruly, unstyled hair, and a little something extra in the form of studs and a handbag with beautifully knotted details.
