Capsule Wardrobe Challenge
Since I’m not buying anything new until May, leaving me to some creative wardrobe shuffling and reinvention, I was totally intrigued by the Capsule Wardrobe Challenge invented by Jane of The Small Fabric of my Life. I saw a couple of bloggers participate last time, including the wildly creative Kasmira, so I knew it was time to challenge myself the next go-round. Well, the spring capsule wardrobe challenge starts today!
The rules are pretty simple. Create five outfits using only ten items of clothing and five accessories. Here’s a peek at the items I’ve planned out for the week.
I picked items for my collage that resemble the ones in my actual wardrobe. For details on the items pictured above, click here.
I know, I know, this is actually 11 items. I debated whether to include the black leggings, since I will be wearing them, but I treat them as an item of hosiery (never to be worn as pants!) which is free according to the rules. So whatever if I’m cheating—this is harder than it looks. Wish me luck!
