I'm Mariel. My style is caught somewhere between a prepster obsession with plaid and the hard hitting trends of the big city. Employee at kate spade new york HQ, Astoria resident, big fan of the internet (I also blog at mariel and matt and mariellie.) All opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

Playing Dress Up at Sammy D Vintage

I had the BEST Monday night ever. Yes, I said “best” and “Monday” in the same sentence, but it’s for a good reason — After work, Becky from Gilding the Frilly and I headed uptown to Sammy D’s showroom for a night of personal shopping.  I couldn’t really capture the fun we had in a plain ol’ collage of snapshots, so I used my Mac to its full potential and created a VIDEO COLLAGE with extra bonus footage of Sammy discussing her platform.  (It’s not perfect- please excuse the awkward transitions ;) All items pictured are from the SDV collection (aside from my beige bow flats and black sweater).

The song is “Never Forget You” by The Noisettes.

Style with substance.  I love it.  Check out Sammy’s website to find out more about her one woman operation and to purchase any of the items you see here.

*This is not a sponsored post. I did not receive any compensation besides friendship and  several glasses of wine.  Sustainable wine, naturally.*
