I took a whirlwind weekend trip to Philadelphia last weekend to meet up with some of my best girl friends from college. Best idea ever! This outfit was worn to a birthday celebration for my friend A’s boyfriend — lots of yummy Malaysian food, cupcakes from Brown Betty’s, champagne toasts- I definitely didn’t want to leave!

I’ll admit that this outfit wasn’t entirely appropriate for the chilly, windy weather we were experiencing, but I couldn’t wait to bust out my spring wardrobe. This dress was originally purchased for college graduation, and I’m glad I went with such a versatile choice. This time I did simple and classic with navy, gold, and beige—doesn’t this outfit make you yearn for summertime sand and salty air at the beach?
